Antonio Brown would help a decimated Giants receiving corps
As the New York Giants prepare for a short week and get ready for the Philadelphia Eagles this coming Thursday night, one of their most glaring issues is at the wide receiver position with all of the injuries that they’ve been dealing with so far this season.
One wide receiver that will be eligible to return in two weeks after an eight week suspension in Antonio Brown.
Now Brown has been allowed to sign with any team he wants to throughout his suspension, but remains a free agent.
I’m not saying the Giants should definitely sign Brown, but they should at least bring him in for a visit and see where his head is at. Especially since Giants’ head coach Joe Judge worked with Brown last season when the former Steeler was a member of the New England Patriots for a brief time.
With the Giants dumping guys like Aldrick Rosas and DeAndre Baker during the offseason for their separate off the field incidents, I doubt New York will go near Brown, but it wouldn’t hurt to possibly bring him in for the final eight weeks of the season, once he’s eligible to return.
