Baldy had some nice things to say about Matt Peart
Brian Baldinger of the NFL Network posted his review on Twitter of New York Giants left tackle Matt Peart after he made his first NFL start for Big Blue this past Sunday against the Washington Football Team.
In the Tweet/video below, Baldinger sounds very impressed with what he saw from Peart and believes he has the potential to be very good.
.@Giants @MatthewPeart65 made his first start for #BigBlue and played pretty well in his 27 snaps. There are a few things that if he can improve upon looks like he has upside. Anxious to watch his next game to see the improvement. Nothing too big for him. #BaldysBreakdowns pic.twitter.com/723s9e7UKh— Brian Baldinger (@BaldyNFL) October 19, 2020
It’s really encouraging to hear how impressed Baldy is of what he sees on film from peart. It’s going to be interesting to see whether or not Peart ends up completely taking over as the Giants’ left tackle if he keeps outplaying Thomas the way he did this past Sunday.
Peart and Thomas will have their work cut out for them on Thursday against an Eagles pass rush that’s not too shabby with guys like Derrick Barnett and Brandon Graham getting after the quarterback.
Right now, all we can do is hope that either Brown or Peart or both of them can develop into great offensive lineman that ca help the Giants for years to come because they’re line has been bad for way too long.
