The Eagles are even more banged up than the Giants
Update (Wednesday): Below are the Eagles and Giants updated injury reports for Thursday night’s game.
The good news for the Giants is that Darius Slayton isn’t listed on their final injury report.
Update (Tuesday): Here’s the Giants projected injury report since they had a walk-thru on today.
Original Post: With the New York Giants and Philadelphia Eagles on a short week as they prepare for Thursday Night’s game, they released their first injury reports of the week. Both teams didn’t practice since they played just yesterday, but they released projected reports.
As you can see below, one player that has been added to the Giants’ injury report that we didn’t expect is linebacker Tae Crowder who scored New York’s game-winning touchdown after recovering a fumble and taking it back for six points.
People are of course wondering of Sterling Shepard could return this week and it sounds like he has a chance, according to Jordan Raanan of ESPN.
What’s great for Big Blue is that linebacker Blake Martinez, defensive lineman Leonard Williams and safety Jabrill Peppers are not on this week’s injury report.
When it comes to the Eagles’ injury report, there is some good news for the Giants, both tight end Zach Ertz and running back Miles Sanders have already been ruled out for Thursday night. Ertz has been a Giant killer during the course of his career.
