The Giants need to look at Antonio Brown
I recently wrote an article about why the New York Giants should at least bring in former Steelers and Patriots wide receiver Antonio brown, who will soon be eligible to play after serving an eight game suspension, for a visit.
ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter reported on Wednesday that the Seattle Seahawks are one of many teams interested in signing Brown.
So, are the Giants one of the other teams interested in Brown? Right now we don’t know. With how conservative owners Steve Ticsh and John Mara have been when it comes to having “problem players” on their team, I don’t see them making a play for Brown. Just look how quickly the organization shipped out Odell Beckham Jr., and he never broke the law. On the other hand, Brown faced burglary, battery or domestic violence charges earlier this year.
As bad as the Giants are, they’re still in the thick of the NFC East division race at 1-5 and no one is looking outright better than them as a team right now. They have a defense that is good enough to get them into the post season, they just need help on offense and Brown could be the spark they need as they deal with injuries at the receiver position.
