Golden Tate and Kevin Zeitler could help playoff bound teams
I posted an article earlier today on who I believe the New York Giants should trade prior to this season’s deadline and it looks like NFL teams are interested in one of those players.
Albert Breer of SI.com is reporting that teams are interested in trading for both offensive lineman Kevin Zeitler and wide receiver Golden Tate. Here’s what Breer wrote:
Philly’s opponent Thursday night, the Giants, are open for business as well. Veterans Golden Tate and Kevin Zeitler are two names that came up pretty consistently with other teams. Tate’s contract and declining production could make him difficult to move for anything significant. Zeitler, on the other hand, might fetch a return based on, again, the crying need for experienced linemen across the league.
Breer is right, Tate could be difficult to move. When it comes to Zeitler, if the Giants lose to the Eagles tonight, I think there’s a good chance they will deal him given the fact that their chances of winning the NFC East this season will diminish after losing to one of the worst teams in the NFL.
Also with the Giants high on fifth round pick Shane Lemieux, getting rid of Zeitler for maybe an early to mid-round draft pick would be a great move.

By all means trade Zeitller if you can. The Giants aren’t going anywhere, again. Why not give Lemieux a chance to play.
