Janoris Jenkins still salty towards Giants
Former New York Giants and current New Orleans Saints’ cornerback Janoris Jenkins took a shot at his former team and their quarterback Daniel Jones, during their loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Monday night.
Jenkins posted an image on Snap Chat that was captured by a Twitter account called @NYGToday.
“A duke QB over Lamar. N wonder y they can’t win …LMMFAO,” he wrote.
Of course Jenkins is referring to the fact that Giants, like 31 other teams in the NFL, passed on Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson in the 2018 NFL Draft to instead take Jones with the sixth overall pick in the first round the 2019 NFL Draft.
It’s obvious that Jenkins is still upset about how things ended with the Giants after he was released in 2019 after directing a slur towards a fan, that he never apologized about, but rather justified.
The only thing Jenkins should be worrying about is fact that his skills are declining at the age of 32, not how the Giants’ current rebuilding project is going. He’s a good player, but needs to carry himself in a more professional manner.
