Rich Eisen makes sense with what he said about Giants
New York Giants’ fans have been struggling this season with their team sitting at 1-7 halfway through the season and Rich Eisen had an interesting take on Big Blue during his show this past Tuesday.
“I will tell you this, I believe you’ve got the right coach. I like him, man. I like him. I think these guys are playing their [expletive] off for him. They are playing tough football. They’re not getting the wins, they’re not good enough to play mistake-filled football and win, but compared to my Jets who have no wins,” Eisen said.
By the way, Eisen is a Jets fan. But I agree with him. I really like Judge and love the way this team is playing with him in charge. They’re fighting and have been so close to defeating teams like the Los Angeles Rams, Dallas Cowboys, Philadelphia Eagles and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Eisen has some faith in Giants’ quarterback Daniel Jones.
“Is Daniel Jones the quarterback or not? I think he’s shown that he can be and be really talented,” Eisen said.
Eisen has been impressed with how hard the Giants have been playing.
“I’ll tell you this. In terms of the want to, in terms of the playing their [expletive] off, in terms of some of these talented players getting better each week…” Eisen said. “Compared to the Jets, these Giants are the 2007 Patriots. So I’ll say that to the Giants fans who are sitting there at 1-7 and saying, ‘I can’t believe this is happening again.’”
When looking at the Giants this season, I kind of see last year’s Miami Dolphins during Brian Flores first year as their head coach. I think like the Dolphins, if the right moves are made this coming offseason, the Giants could turn things around in 2021.
