Giants want to hold onto Dalvin Tomlinson
The New York Giants’ defense has looked pretty good this season and one of the reasons for this is defensive lineman Dalvin Tomlinson who’s in the final year of his contract and playing some of the best football of his career.
One of the Giants’ top priorities this coming offseason will be making sure they keep Tomlinson because it’s obvious now that other teams would love to have him.
Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network reported on Sunday morning that the Green Bay Packers tried to trade for Tomlinson prior last week’s deadline, but the Giants decided not to move him.
The Giants have a lot of decisions to make on the defensive side of the ball with Leonard Williams on a one -year franchise tag. If they aren’t able to keep both Williams and Tomlinson, New York’s defense will look a lot different next season and may not be as strong as they are up front in 2020.
Please feel free to comment below and give us your thoughts. Should the Giants re-sign Tomlinson? Will they be able to re-sign him?
