The Giants can still win the NFC East
Even though the New York Giants are still in last place in the NFC East with a 2-7 record, they’re still in a good position to win the division and make the playoffs which is once again evidence of how pathetic the NFC East is right now.
If the Giants are able to come away with a win over the 3-4-1 Philadelphia Eagles this coming Sunday they will improve to 3-7 and the Eagles will fall to 3-5-1. This would put New York within a game and half of first place heading into their bye week.
Right now the NFC East is still wide open for everyone. The one team that is in the worst shape is the Dallas Cowboys with quarterback Dak Prescott out for the season and Andy Dalton missing time with COVID–19.
Despite the fact that the Washington Football Team lost quarterback Kyle Allen for the season they’re still in pretty god shape with Alex Smith under center and a strong defense to back him up.
The Giants have a tough remaining schedule but with how well their defense has been playing and their offensive line improving, anything can happen as long as quarterback Daniel Jones protects the football.
