Giants are fairly healthy heading into Eagles game
Update (Friday): Freeman has been ruled out with a hamstring injury now on top of his injured ankle. He has been placed on injured reserve. I’m sure we will once against see Alfred Morris share some carries with Wayne Gallman. Golden Tate is questionable and so is Isaac Yiadom who is a new addition to the injury report with a calf injury.
Update (Thursday): Some updates for the Giants’ injury report from Thursday’s practice is that Golden Tate is now on the list after being limited with a knee injury. Back at practice were Leonard Williams and Logan Ryan and Kaden Smith was a full participant after being limited on Wednesday.
Running back Devonta Freeman exited practice early so his status for Sunday is up in the air.
Here’s a link to the Eagles’ updated injury report.
Original: Despite a 2-7 record, the New York Giants have a big game against the Philadelphia Eagles this Sunday that can get them back into the NFC East race with a win at MetLife Stadium.
The Giants week 10 injury report has been released and the only two players that didn’t practice on Wednesday were safety Logan Ryan and defensive lineman Leonard Williams due to personal reasons.
Players that were limited were running back Devonta Freeman (ankle), wide receiver Sterling Shepard (toe/hip), and tight end Kaden Smith (concussion/non-contact).
The Giants are pretty healthy coming into this game. Now of course guys like Will Hernandez aren’t back yet, but he was recently activated from the COVID-19 list.
New York could also get undrafted rookie linebacker Tae Crowder back this week or after the bye week after being designated for return from injured reserve after suffering a hamstring injury back in week six against the Washington Football Team.
When it comes to the Eagles, they will have running back Miles Sanders back this week after he missed the first meeting between these two teams.
The only Philly player that didn’t practice was defensive lineman Fletcher Cox.. You can view their full report here.
