A day after the New York Giants pretty much dominated the Philadelphia Eagles by a score of 27-17, Philly head coach Doug Pederson is licking his wounds.
In an interview with Sports Radio WIP in Philly, it’s obvious how upset Pederson is after his team’s defeat to the Giants. Check it out below:
I think that Art Stapleton of NorthJersey.com brought up a great point about the Eagles not respecting the Giants and they likely still don’t.
I think you could see the disrespect during the game when the Eagles when for two two-point conversions in an attempt to mount a comeback. I understood the first attempt which was successful, but second attempt didn’t make any sense.
I get the feeling that the fact that the Eagles have owned the Giants since 2016 got to Pederson and the Eagles’ heads even though they should have lost the first game between these two teams earlier in the season.
If the Giants continue to play well and win the NFC East, maybe Philly will finally respect them. We’ll have to wait and see what happens because the Eagles are still the favorites to win the division in my opinion.
