The Giants are hit with more COVID cases
Update: The three players that tested positive are tight end Kaden Smith, offensive lineman Matt peart and wide receiver Dante Pettis, according to Mike Garafolo and Tom Peliserro of the NFL Network.
Original: Earlier in the week news broke that New York Giants’ kicker Graham Gano had tested positive for COVID-19.
With Gano testing positive the Giants moved all of their weekly meetings and also have their longer snapper Casey Kreiter and punter Riley Dixon self-isolate and quarantine themselves after adding them to the COVID-19/reserve list.
In case you’re wondering, Kreiter and Dixon aren’t two of the three players that have recently tested positive aside from Gano. But whoever did test positive likely won’t be able to play against the Cincinnati Bengals next Sunday.
As soon as I find out who the players are that tested positive I will update this post.
With each passing week it’s looking more and more like the NFL is unable to keep their players from getting infected. I really hope this season is able to finish, but I have my doubts with so many players getting infected.
