Eli Manning heading to a TV near you
Former New York Giants’ quarterback Eli Manning has found himself a part-time job now that he is of coursed retired from the NFL.
With Bleacher Report and TNT coming together to broadcast Capital One’s “The Match: Champions for Change” on November 27 at 3:00 p.m. ET from Stone Canyon Golf Club in Oro Valley, Arizona, Manning will be a part of the broadcast team.
Now this isn’t your typical golf tournament because it will feature guys like Charles Barkley, Stephen Curry, Phil Mickelson and Eli’s brother Peyton Manning.
It doesn’t sound like Peyton is thrilled with Eli being a part of the broadcast team.
“[Peyton] told me his brother Eli was going to have some sort of involvement and I said, ‘Is that good or bad?’ He said, ‘It’s not good for me.’ Those two can go at it. If I was a producer, that’s exactly what I’d have done,” Gary McCord told USA TODAY.
Eli will be alongside LPGA star Michelle Wie for the pre-match coverage and also serve as the on-course correspondent for the Cart Cam live stream.
I’m really looking forward to watching how Eli might try to troll or mess with Peyton while he’s on the course.
