Giants will move up in power rankings if they can keep winning
Even though the New York Giants are coming off a bye week after two straight wins against division foes, they’ve fallen in the week 12 NFL power rankings.
Here are how things look:

DL Dexter Lawrence and Leonard Williams have become the foundation of a defense that is the primary reason this team might win the NFC East.
The Giants’ defense is certainly a reason they’re in the hunt for the playoffs, but their running game and the fact that quarterbackl Daniel Jones has been making some great throws while also protecting the football helps a lot as well.

Just when it was starting to look like the Joe Judge regime had found an open stretch on the New Jersey Turnpike, a gossipy bit of internal melodrama involving the firing of an offensive line coach and the utterance of a very naughty word threw Big Blue back into gridlock. It’s a test for Judge, who doesn’t want to be tagged as the latest Belichick disciple who people don’t want to work for. NFL Network’s Michael Silver reported last week that Judge’s “personality style has been off-putting to some.” I call this going Full Patricia. You never go Full Patricia. The focus has to be all-in on the Bengals, the last sub-.500 team New York will see for a month.
I think the Marc Colombo situation has been overblown and I believe that head coach Joe Judge has full control of his team. If the Giants continue to play well and get better, it will be proof that there aren’t any other issues within this locker room.

While the Giants haven’t won much this season, it appears they might have found their coach. Judge has put his program in motion and the early returns are positive. The Giants are playing hard for their new coach and appear to be paving the road for success in the future with Judge at the helm. Finally, something to be optimistic about. — Jordan Raanan
The way Judge has gotten a Giants team that was playing really badly early on is a great sign. It’s obvious that everyone is on the same page and this team is headed in the right direction.

They come off their bye in the division race with a winnable game on the road against a Joe Burrow-less Bengals team. The Giants were playing better before the bye.
This Bengals game coming up should be an easy win with Joe Burrow out, but they can’t look past them and toward the following week’s match-up with the Seattle Seahawks or they could be in a rude awakening in Cincy.
