Logan Ryan is having a heck of a season for the Giants
With Pro Bowl voting now going on, New York Giants safety Logan Ryan leads all NFC free safeties, according to Art Stapleton of NorthJersey.com.
This is quite a surprise given how long Ryan was a free agent this past offseason, but there is no doubt that he has made a difference for the Giants and their defense this season.
Pro Football Focus chimed in with their thoughts on Twitter given how low Ryan’s grade is (63.9) so far this season.
They mentioned Jessie Bates of the Bengals, who is having a monster year with a grade of 91. but he’s not in the NFC.
I respect the work that PFF does but I don’t believe their grades are truly 100 percent accurate of a players on field play. There’s no way that they what every player should be doing on every play.
Getting back to Ryan, it will be interesting to see if he continues to lead all NFC free safeties once the Pro Bowl voting is completed.
