Giants are getting three key players back
The New York Giants have announced that they’ve activated rookie safety Xavier McKinney, kicker Graham Gano, and rookie linebacker Tae Crowder.
Mckinney and Crowder have been activated from the injured reserve list. McKinney started the season on IR after suffering a broken bone in his foot during training camp. Crowder ended up on IR after injuring his hamstring during New York’s first win of the 2020 season over the Washington Football Team. Crowder made the play of the game against Washington when he returned a fumbled 43 yards for the game-winning touchdown back on October 18th.
McKinney and Crowder will add some versatility to the Giants’ defense down the stretch as they prepare to face some very good offenses in the Seattle’s Seahawks, Arizona Cardinals, Cleveland Browns and Baltimore Ravens.
Gano on the other hand was activated from the COVID-19/reserve list after testing positive for COVID-19 back on Monday November 16th after signing a contract extension after New York’s win over the Philadelphia Eagles the day before.
