Giants can only hope Jones won’t miss any games
The New York Giants were able to pull off an ugly win over the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday but unfortunately they may not have starting quarterback Daniel Jones during the most difficult portion of their schedule this season. They have games against the Seattle Seahawks, Arizona Cardinals, Cleveland Browns and Baltimore Ravens all within the next four weeks and without Jones they will have a hard time winning the NFC East.
Giants’ head coach Joe Judge sounded optimistic after that game that Jones will be fine for next Sunday, but the second-year quarterback out of Duke doesn’t sound as positive since he says he doesn’t know the extent of his injury.
Jones will undergo an MRI on Monday, which will help the Giants get an idea of how much time Jones could end up missing.
Back-up quarterback Colt McCoy didn’t look very good when he came in for Jones, but we don’t know how well he will play if he ends up with a full week of practice.
