Daniel Jones might need a week off
After suffering a hamstring injury against the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday, we still don’t know if New York Giants’ starting quarterback Daniel Jones will be ready for this coming Sunday’s game against the Seattle Seahawks.
Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network reported on Monday that after undergoing an MRI it looks like Jones did avoid suffering a major injury and could end up playing this week.
Jordan Raanan of ESPN says that Jones will likely miss some time.
Looking at the NFC East, the Giants will likely have to get to at least six wins to come away with the division. That means they have to win two games out of the remaining five on their schedule. It might be a good idea to rest Jones against the Seahawks in hopes that he will be healthy enough to play the final four games.
Jones is a tough player that might find a way to get on the field against the Seahawks. We’ll have to wait and see if he practices this week.
