Jerry Jones is salty
It has to be a hit to the ego of Dallas Cowboys’ owner Jerry Jones that his team was flexed out of their Sunday Night Football slot in week 15 against the San Francisco 49ers in favor of the New York Giants game against the Cleveland Browns.
During a radio appearance on Friday, Jones played down his team being pushed to a Sunday afternoon.
There is no way the Cowboys get more viewers on local television. That is a straight up lie with NBC broadcasting Sunday Night Football across the entire country and parts of the world. Jerry is clearly trying to make himself feel better.
Jerry really shouldn’t worry about his Cowboys being flexed out of SNF given the fact that his team is 3-8 so far this season under a new head coach in Mike McCarthy. Not to mention his starting quarterback suffered a nasty injury earlier in the season and still needs a new contract. So he clearly have bigger things to sweat over.
