Daniel Jones and Blake Martinez are up in the air right now
Friday: It continues to look like Jones will start this week after he put in a full practice on Friday for the Giants. He is listed as questionable. Here’s the rest of the Giants’ final injury report for week 14.
Thursday: Here’s the Giants’ injury report from Thursday. Once again Daniel Jones was limited. As was Blake Martinez.
Some good signs from Daniel Jones.
Original: The New York Giants’ week 14 injury report has been released after a Wednesday walk-thru as the team prepares for another big game, this time against the Arizona Cardinals.
The following players were limited on Wednesday: quarterback Daniel Jones (hamstring) and defensive back Darnay Holmes (knee). There is a report out that Jones is expected to play but he will have to of course prove that he is healthy.
The following guys didn’t practice: defensive back Madre Harper (knee), linebacker Blake Martinez (back) and offensive tackle Matt Peart (ankle). Head coach Joe Judge is hopeful that Martinez will be able to play.
If Martinez isn’t able to play Sunday, safety Logan Ryan will take over as the quarterback of the defense and wear the head set and organize things on that side of the ball. I don’t know who would take in his spot. Rookie seventh round pick Tae Crowder played in his spot at the end of last week’s win over the Seahawks.
When the Cardinals injury report is available you will be able to view it here.
