Cardinals won’t be an easy opponent for the Giants
The New York Giants have another tough opponent in the Arizona Cardinals this Sunday. So if they’re going to be able to come away with a win, I’ve come up with three keys to victory for Big Blue.
Contain Kyler Murray
Just like last week the Giants’ defense will have to contain a mobile quarterback. But Kyler Murray isn’t you’re typical mobile quarterback in that he can take off and score on any given play.
New York defensive coordinator Patrick Graham devised a brilliant scheme last week that locked down the Seahawks’ receivers. If Murray can’t find a target to throw to he will most certainly take off down the field. Look for the Giants implement a spy to follow him around.
Run the ball
Cardinals have one of the worst run defenses in the NFL while their pass defense is in the middle of the pack. Whether New York quarterback Daniel Jones starts or not the Giants will need to dish out a large portion of their one-two punch of running backs Wayne Gallman and Alfred Morris.
Lock down DeAndre Hopkins
The Cardinals have a good set of wide receivers but the one that the Giants have to worry about the most of DeAndre Hopkins, who is arguably the best in the game at his position right now.
I imagine that James Bradberry will follow Hopkins around and have help over the top from either Logan Ryan and/or Jabrill Peppers.
