Daniel Jones coming back at the right time
All week it was sounding like quarterback Daniel Jones would start for the New York Giants this Sunday as he continues to nurse a hamstring injury. Now it’s official.
According to Jordan Raanan of ESPN and Dan Duggan of The Athletic, Jones will start for the Giants against the Cardinals.
This is certainly great news for a Giants team that will need all the help they can get with some very tough games during the final four weeks of the regular season. Especially with the Washington Football Team keeping pace in the NFC East. Let’s just hope he can stay healthy.
The Giants have also made some roster moves over the past two days. On Friday they placed defensive back Madre Harper on injured reserve and signed defensive back Montre Hartage to their practice squad.
On Saturday New York elevated cornerback Jarren Williams to their active roster for Sunday’s game. This will help the Giants on special teams and defense with Harper out for at least the next three games.
