Daniel Jones dealing with multiple injuries
Friday: The Giants have released their final injury report and Daniel Jones is questionable for Sunday night.
Thursday: The Giants didn’t practice on Thursday because of Jason Garrett testing positive for COVID-19, but they did release an updated injury report that didn’t change from yesterday.
Wednesday: The New York Giants have released their official injury report after the team practiced on Wednesday afternoon.
As you can see from the report below, Giants’ quarterback Daniel Jones was limited with a hamstring and ankle injury. Head coach Joe Judge revealed on Wednesday that he suffered a sprained ankle during this past Sunday’s loss to to Arizona Cardinals.
When it comes to the rest of the Giants’ injury report, offensive lineman Kevin Zeitler was also limited with a shoulder injury and cornerback Darnay Holmes sat out with a knee injury that forced him to miss last week’s game.
When it comes to Jones I would expect him to be limited for the rest of the week and listed as questionable when Friday rolls around. We’ll ultimately have to wait and see what happens.
Don’t be surprised if Holmes misses his second straight game. And if that happens rookie safety Xavier McKinney will likely take over his role like he did last week against the Cardinals.
