James Bradberry has been having an amazing season
You could argue that any players on the New York Giants should be named to the Pro Bowl this season. Whether it’s cornerback James Bradberry, linebacker Blake Martinez safeties Logan Ryan and Jabrill Peppers or even defensive lineman Leonard Williams.
Even though there technically won’t be a Pro Bowl at the end of the 2020 NFL season, Pro Football Focus has released their own rosters and they have one only Giants’ player on it and that is James Bradberry.
Here’s what they wrote about Bradberry:
Jaire Alexander has allowed a total of 282 yards in coverage all season, while James Bradberry is having a career year despite drawing assignments like D.K. Metcalf and DeAndre Hopkins on back-to-back weeks.
Bradberry did a heck of a job against Metcalf and Hopkins. You also have to remember though the Giants play a lot fo zone defense so some credit should be given to defensive coordinator Patrick Graham.
So far this season Bradberry has recorded 39 tackles, two forced fumbles, three interceptions and 17 passes defended. As much as people want to rip Giants’ general manager Dave Gettleman, signing Bradberry was a brilliant move.
