Getting James Bradberry back is huge for the Giants’ defense
The New York Giants announced on Monday that they’ve activated cornerback James Bradberry from the COVID-19 list.
Bradberry never tested positive for COVID, but was a close contact of someone who did so he was forced to miss Sunday night’s game against the Cleveland Browns. He was dearly missed as New York gave up 297 yards and two touchdowns through the air.
Safety Julian love filled in for Bradberry against the Browns but it wasn’t enough. He might be Dave Gettleman’s best free agent signing since being hired as the team’s general manager.
The good news though is that Bradberry is now back and will hopefully help the Giants snap their two game losing streak when they play the Baltimore Ravens this coming Sunday. Bradberry has helped this year’s defense keep New York in some tough games.
Bradberry is currently the only Giants’ player that’s likely to make the 2020 NFC Pro Bowl roster with him holding a lead in the fan voting portion. So far this season he has 39 tackles, 2 forced fumbles, 3 interceptions and 17 passes defended.
