Giants in the top-10 for now
With just two weeks left in the 2020 NFL season the New York Giants currently have the 10th overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft.
The Giants held the 10th pick last week as well, so their loss to the Cleveland Browns this past Sunday didn’t help them.
Here’s how the top-10 looks right now:
- Jacksonville (1-13)
- NY Jets (1-13)
- Cincinnati (3-10-1)
- Carolina (4-10)
- Atlanta (4-10)
- Miami (From Houston 4-10)
- Philadelphia (4-9-1)
- Dallas (5-9)
- LA Chargers (5-9)
- NY Giants (5-9)
There are actually a flurry of teams with 5-9 records that run down to the 13th pick, so right now due to tie-breakers the Giants are at 10. Of course this could easily change.
With two games to go in the regular season, the Giants could really end up with a pick within the top-10 or something closer to around 15 depending on how they finish the season. If they somehow win the NFC East they will be picking close to 20.
Wherever the Giants end up picking in 2021 their top two priorities will be getting a number one receiver and an edge rusher that can make life difficult for opposing quarterbacks.
