Daniel Jones to play this week?
Friday Update: The Giants have released their final week 16 injury report and wide receiver Golden Tate has been ruled out with a calf injury. Quarterback Daniel Jones is questionable.
Thursday Update: Below is the Giants’ updated injury report. As you can see Golden Tate didn’t practice and both Evan Engram and Matt Peart were full participants.
Wednesday: The New York Giants have released their week 16 injury report following their first practice of the week and things are looking pretty good ahead of a big game against the Baltimore Ravens.
Starting quarterback Daniel Jones (ankle, hamstring), tight end Evan Engram (calf), cornerback Darnay Holmes (knee), offensive lineman Matt Peart (ankle) and wide receiver Golden Tate (calf) were all limited.
The good news is that no one missed practice, especially Holmes who’s missed the last two games.
Jordan Raanan of ESPN thought that Jones looked good in practice and has a really good chance of playing Sunday. Check out the video below.
I really liked how Colt McCoy played last week and if Jones isn’t able to take off and run and has to stay in the pocket, I’m not sure if it’s worth starting him. Now if he has the ability to take off and run and it would be a no-brainer for him to start against the Ravens.
Once the Ravens release their injury report you will be able to view it here.
