Giants and Cowboys dealing with COVID issues ahead of big game
The New York Giants and Dallas Cowboys both have a huge game against one another this Sunday where the winner could come away with the NFC East division title if the Washington Football Team were to lose to their game against the Philadelphia Eagles.
The problem is both the Giants and Cowboys are now dealing with positive COVID-19 tests. For New York, offensive line coach Dave DeGuglielmo has tested positive and will of course miss this week’s game. The good news is that the Giants will still practice on Friday and hold their typical meetings. Hopefully no one else will test positive between now and Sunday.
With Deguglielmo out, assistant offensive line coach Ben Wilkerson will take over on Sunday.
When it comes to the Dallas Cowboys. one of their players tested positive so they will be working virtually on Friday. So they won’t be able to hold a final practice before Sunday, unless they have one on Saturday.
Hopefully neither the Giants or Cowboys have any more positives because it could make Sunday’s game very difficult to pull off.
