The Giants don’t have the talent Jason Garrett’s offense needs
I’ve already touched on the fact that New York Giants’ offensive coordinator Jason Garrett’s offensive system may not be the right fit for this team given the lack of talent. At this point I would be surprised though if the Giants decided to move on from him given their patience and the fact that John Mara and Steve Tisch love him.
If Garrett does leave the Giants it would likely be for a head coaching job elsewhere. While talking to the media on Thursday he was asked about his coaching future and avoided giving an answer.
Garrett has a big test this week against his former team in the Dallas Cowboys who have a very good pass rush. While he’s stuck with a quarterback in Daniel Jones who can’t move around outside the pocket because of his hamstring and ankle injuries.
The Giants were criticized for hiring Garrett after not doing a great job calling plays in Dallas and I would say that there have been times this season that the Giants’ offense has looked good, but overall their lack of ability to score points lately is alarming.

While some of his calls are questionable, the lack of talent I think has more to do with it
