Giants preparing for next season
With the 2020 NFL season winding down, teams around the league will start working out players for next season. The New York Giants decided to work out a total of nine players this week in preparation for 2021.
As you can see below, the Giants worked out defensive end Ryan Bee, offensive tackle Dino Boyd, running back Jordan Chunn, tight end Matt Flanagan, defensive back Evan Foster, linebacker Cale Garrett, wide receiver Shelton Gibson, wide receiver Kyran Moore and quarterback Jalen Morton.
Gibson is one player that stands out on this list. He was taken in the 5th round of the 2017 NFL Draft by the Philadelphia Eagles. He also spent time with the Cleveland Browns, Washington Football Team, Carolina Panthers and a second time with the Eagles.
Gibson has only recorded three receptions for 59 yards as a wide receiver and three kickoffs for 57 yards so far during his career.
We will have to wait and see if the Giants decide to sign any of these players to reserve/future contracts once their season ends.
