Maybe Jason Garrett will leave New York after all
It will be interesting to see whether or not the New York Giants will end up keeping offensive coordinator Jason Garrett after his offense ranked 31st in the NFL in 2020.
Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network reported on Monday that the Los Angeles Chargers have requested to interview Garrett for their head coaching job.
As of right now we don’t know whether or not the Giants will grant the Chargers permission to interview Garrett, but my guess is that they will.
Garrett of course has plenty of experience as a head coach from his time with the Dallas Cowboys and I’m sure Giants’ fans would love to see him leave with how bad the offense was this season.
I like Garrett, but I don’t think his offense is the right fit for the Giants because they don’t have the talent that he needs to be successful. I also believe that both John Mara and Steve Tisch will give him at least another year if he wants to stick around.
