The Eagles gave up and the Giants and rest of the world noticed
Despite the fact that the Philadelphia Eagles were within three points of the Washington Football Team during the fourth quarter of Sunday Night’s loss to the Washington Football Team, Philly head coach Doug Pederson decided to pull rookie quarterback Jalen Hurts in favor of third string quarterback Nate Sudfeld.
Now this move wasn’t made because Hurts was injured or playing poorly. He was actually playing very well, he scored both of the Eagles’ touchdowns.
After the move was made some players on the Giants tweeted out their disbelief.
Tate had some jokes as well.
Even former Giant Justin Tuck chimed in.
I can’t imagine that the NFL was happy with this move as well due to the fact that they flexed this game to Sunday Night Football. Also this is not good for the integrity of the game. It’s truly unbelievable and sad for the NFL.
At the end of the day the Giants should have won more than six games this season. Then they wouldn’t have been in this position.
