Julio Jones might be what the Giants need
The Atlanta Falcons are in a tough spot as an organization after almost winning their first Super Bowl in franchise history just a few years ago.
It sounds like Falcons’ owner Arthur Blank is ready to strip everything down and rebuild because he’s indicated that he’s open to trading quarterback Matt Ryan and wide receiver Julio Jones.
This is where the New York Giants come in. They of course need a number one wide receiver after their passing offense ranked 29th in the league, almost dead last in the NFL in 2020. Their front office even indicated that they need more weapons on offense during their end of season press conference this week.
Jones turns 32 years-old next month, but is still putting up some very impressive numbers with 54 receptions for 959 yards and 8 touchdowns this season in 13 games.
If the Giants could get Jones for a fourth round pick or less I think it would be worth it for them. Maybe offer the Falcons a 4th and 5th or a 4th and 6th for Jones.

He is 32 and makes way to much money. 54 receptions sounds like he is not a true number one anymore. He was amazing but I’d rather have my draft picks and spend that money elsewhere. Now if Atlanta releases him I would sign him at a team friendly deal. Lets not help other teams rebuild. We are still putting g the final touches on our rebuild, hopefully. LiL
Lots of players have been considered washed up and gone on to new teams where they excelled. I don’t know the salary situations.
He would be a great one to get.
