Devonta Freeman back on an NFL roster
Running back Devonta Freeman didn’t play a lot for the New York Giants in 2020 because of his inability to stay healthy. But when he was on the field he helped their offense establish a strong running game without Saquon Barkley.
With the Bills losing running back Zack Moss against the Indianapolis Colts this past Saturday, they needed to add some depth, so signing Freeman makes a lot of sense for them as they prepare for their next playoff game against the Baltimore Ravens.
I would imagine that if Freeman does play it will be as a change of page back unless current starter Devin Singletary goes down. But right now he’s on the Bills’ practice squad, so he may not play this week at all unless they add him to their 53 man roster.
