Corey Coleman will have a hard time getting signed
Things have been really rough for Former Cleveland Browns first round pick, wide receiver Corey Coleman, who’s also spent in 2018, 2019 and some of 2020 with the New York Giants.
Coleman suffered a torn ACL on the first day of training camp in 2019 with the Giants and didn’t step on the practice field with New York until the middle of this past season when he was added to their practice squad. Now things have gotten worse for him.
Tom Pelissero of the NFL Network reported on Tuesday that Coleman has been suspended for the first six games of the 2021 NFL Season. I’m assuming it’s due to violating the league’s performance enhancing drug rules.
With Coleman only being 26 years old, his career just might be over. He will turn 27 in July and I have a feeling teams won’t be knocking down his door to give him a contract. Especially with a six game suspension looming.
Hopefully Coleman can somehow get back on the field and resurrect his career.
