Giants will have six picks in the 2021 NFL Draft
The New York Giants were big spenders during last year’s free agency period and didn’t lose any big-time players. Because of this, they won’t be awarded any 2021 NFL Draft compensatory picks. Overthecap.com pretty much confirmed the news on Tuesday.
Now OTC could end up being wrong because they did say they may not be accurate on all of their predictions for who will get comp picks. But again, we do know that Giants won’t because of the fact that they spent a lot of money in 2020 and didn’t lose any significant free agents.
Now if the Giants lose guys like Leonard Williams and/or Dalvin Tomlinson this coming offseason and don’t spend big to replace them, they would definitely get some comp picks in 2022. They might get some anyway even if they lose Williams and/Tomlinson and spend to replace one of them. We’ll have to wait and see.
For now, all we know is that they won’t be getting any more additional draft picks for the 2021 NFL Draft. below are the picks that the Giants will have.
- First round – 11th overall
- Second round – 42nd overall
- Third round – 76th overall
- Fourth round – 107th overall
- Sixth round – 172nd overall
- Sixth round – 177th overall (via Arizona)
