JPP got a surprise on Monday
As we know by now, former New York Giants defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul will be playing in his second Super Bowl this coming Sunday, now that he’s a member of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers after getting traded in 2018.
JPP was a part of the Giants’ Super Bowl 46 team that defeated quarterback Tom Brady and the New England Patriots back in 2011. Now he’s trying to get his second ring with Brady as a teammate instead of having to try and sack him.
Former Giants’ defensive end Osi Umenyiora was Pierre-Paul’s teammate back in 2011 and surprised him by calling in during his Zoom call on Monday. Check it out below:
What’s great is that Osi didn’t even have a question for JPP, he just wanted to say hi.
Pierre-Paul and the Bucs’ defense will have their work cut out for them as they face off against a high-powered Kansas City Chiefs’ offense led by star quarterback Patrick Mahomes.
I wish JPP nothing but the best as he pursues another ring with his career winding down at the age of 32.
