There’s a new league in town
The NFL may not be playing football right now, but as we’ve seen over the past few years, another offseason means another new football league has launched. Whether it was the AAF, or XFL it seems like we always have football to watch around this time every year.
This year we have the FCF (Fan Controlled Football) to keep us entertained for the time being.
As NFL Draft Diamonds pointed out, the first weekend of games were pretty interesting. Here’s a highlight of one of their games.
You might be wondering what Fan Controlled Football is. Here’s what their website says:
FCF is pro football re-imagined for the modern digital world. Real games played in a single, high tech studio arena and streamed live on Twitch. Oh, and YOU call the plays. Scroll down the page to read all about this exciting new brand of football that puts the fans in the middle of it all.
It’s essentially a new version of arena football with 7-on-7 action on a 50 yard football inside of enclosed arenas.
The games only last one hour and there is a running clock with no replays. There’s also no kicking or special teams and all of their games are streamed live on Twitch.
