Giants need more sacks in 2021
The New York Giants can go in so many different directions when it comes to who they can take with the 11th overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft.
Big Blue could take a tight end in Kyle Pitts, a wide receiver like Jaylen Waddle, an edge rusher or even an offensive lineman.
In their latest mock draft, Pro Football Focus have the Giants taking University of Michigan edge rusher Kwity Paye. Here’s what they wrote:
The Giants struck gold last offseason with the acquisition of James Bradberry in free agency, and there was some temptation to take another corner here to fortify a strength. However, given the value proposition of elite edge players taken high in the draft relative to what they are paid as veterans at the top end, Paye is an athletic bet the Giants need to make here to secure their first elite edge defender in quite some time.
With all three of the top receivers off the board as well as Pitts, taking an edge rusher like Paye would make sense for the Giants who haven’t had a great pass rusher in what seems like an eternity.

The Giants need a dominant pass rusher. But if they don’t want to take a major step back, fix the damn offense this year. I believe if Gettleman doesn’t fix the offensive he will be facing early retirement. That would also make the Giants search for a new QB. Get this kid help or you will be rebuilding and no Giant fan want to deal with that after we showed so much promise. The defense did well last year and the offense stunk. I know losing Barkley hurt but the line needs more pieces or needs to improve like they did the 2nd half of the season. The WRs failed Jones. Between there poor play ( not just Engram) they always seem to be on the injured list. Draft 2 WRs high in the draft. And for god sake try to keep Zeitler. Hopefully we can reconstruct Zeitler and Nate Soilder. That could help the line if Nate still has something left in the tank. Fix the Offense. Please. Go G-MEN.
