The Giants need to think about signing Hasson Reddick
If the New York Giants are going to improve their pass rush this offseason, the best way might be for them to sign a free agent edge rusher.
On Tuesday news came out that the Arizona Cardinals will not use their franchise tag on edge rusher Hasson Reddick, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter. So now we know one top-free agent pass rusher will be on the market.
It’s going to be interesting to see how much money teams are willing to give Reddick as a free agent since 2020 was the only season where he had over four sacks. While he had a great year, the team that signs him will have to hope and pray that it wasn’t a fluke.
The fact of the matter is that the Giants have to do their due diligence on Reddick and if they are certain that he can put up big numbers with him on their team, then they should sign him as long as the money makes sense.
