Kenny Golladay is on his way to New York
News broke on Wednesday that the New York Giants will be bringing in former Detroit Lions’ wide receiver Kenny Golladay for a visit. The question that everyone was wondering is when that will actually be.
Josina Anderson has reported that Golladay will meet with the Giants on Thursday night.
The main reason the Giants are meeting with Golladay is to check on his health after he suffered a hip injury during the 2020 season that saw him miss a good portion of the season.
Golladay has only played an entire 16 game season once during his four year career, which was in 2019. He played in 11 games as a rookie in 2017, 15 games in 2018 and only five in 2020.
The fact of the matter is that in the NFL it’s very difficult for players to play an entire season, but if the Giants are going to pay him like a top receiver, they need to make sure that he will be on the field for most of the next few years.
If all goes well, I would imagine that the Giants could get things wrapped up with Golladay tonight.
