Kenny Golladay gaining more and more attention
Update: NFL insider Josina Anderson has a little update for us.
Original: Free agent wide receiver Kenny Golladay has been in New Jersey/new York since Thursday as he continues to meet with the New York Giants after meeting with the Chicago Bears on Wednesday.
Now it looks like another team is trying to get in the mix for his services.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter is reporting that the Baltimore Ravens have now reached out to Golladay’s agent.
This is certainly an interesting twist because we know that Golladay wants to play for the Giants, but would he rather want to play for a team like the Ravens who are in the position to get to the Super Bowl with a very talented roster?
On the flip side, the Ravens passing offense hasn’t been very good with quarterback Lamar Jackson under center. But they’re also one of the best run franchises in the NFL and have been stringing together winning season after winning season as the Giants struggle to rebuild.
At the end of the day, the ball is in the Giants’ court, if they want to sign him and make sure he doesn’t leave, they will have that chance on Friday.
