Giants have their eyes set on Adoree Jackson now
With Kenny Golladay now under contract, the New York Giants are turning their attention to free agent cornerback Adoree Jackson, who was recently released by the Tennessee Titans.
Jackson is scheduled to arrive in the New York/New Jersey area on Sunday evening and will likely meet with the Giants on Monday.
Jordan Schultz of ESPN reported on Sunday that the Giants have placed a “high priority” on signing Jackson.
Schultz’s ESPN colleague and Giants’ insider Jordan Raanan says that the Giants are favorites to sign Jackson.
The Giants have done a nice job in free agency of filling some of their needs heading into next season. They’ve already bolster their wide receiving corp with Golladay and John Ross while also adding tight end Kyle Rudolph.
Two of New York’s most glaring needs are at cornerback and edge rusher, which they could look to bolster in the draft or add talent via free agency like Jackson.
