Hopefully Kyle Rudolph can stay healthy for the Giants
News came out on Tuesday that the New York Giants had hit a snag with their deal with tight end Kyle Rudolph after he underwent a physical and they realized that his foot needs to undergo surgery.
Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network reported on Wednesday that it looks like both sides have worked things out since he has officially signed his contract with New York.
Mike Garafolo of the NFL Network has detailed the resolution.
It sounds like the Giants are confident that Rudolph will be fine for next season and that is all that matters at this point.
The good news for the Giants too is that they’re not relying Rudolph to be their top tight end with Evan Engram on the roster, but having him on the field will give them another weapon for an offense that is suddenly loaded with pass catchers for quarterback Daniel Jones.
I think Rudolph will be the most valuable for the Giants as a red zone target and as a blocker.
