The Giants got some help with these moves
The Miami Dolphins, San Francisco 49ers and Philadelphia Eagles all made trades on Friday as it pertains to their draft picks for next month’s NFL Draft.
The first trade of the day was the 49ers moving up to get the third overall pick and the Dolphins moving back to 12, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Then the Eagles decided to trade out of the top 10 and move from six to 12 by swapping their first round pick with Miami as well as other picks. Schefter has the details.
When news broke about the Dolphins trading out of the top-10, it was good news for the Giants because it definitely means there is a good chance that four quarterbacks would in fact be taken in the top-10. Which means other talent, like any of the top three wide receivers, will fall to New York at 11.
No matter whether Miami takes a receiver or not, the fact that the 49ers were able to move from 12 to three is a sign that they’re looking to take one of the quarterbacks; in this year’s class. In turn this will have a ripple affect, which means other prospects will fall and the Giants will have more choices at 11.
