Giants keep bringing in players
The New York Giants signed three free agents on Tuesday and it looks like they’re trying to sign more.
Zack Rosenblatt of NJ.com says the Giants brought in free agent linebacker Dylan Cole for a visit on Wednesday.
The 26 year-old Cole was primarily a special teams player for the Houston Texans in 2020. He was signed by Houston in 2017 as an undrafted free agent out of Missouri State.
For his career so far, Cole has 67 tackles, one sack, seven passes defensed, two interceptions, one fumble recovery and one touchdown.
Right now the Giants are just adding players to their roster to create depth and competition heading into spring as well as training camp when it kicks off at the end of July. Of course we’ll have to wait and see if they in fact sign Cole.
The Giants will also add more players during next month’s 2021 NFL Draft and will sign their fair share of undrafted free agents. So stay tuned because of course they’re not done yet.
