Does Kyle Pitts make sense for the Giants?
After an active free agency period, the New York Giants are suddenly loaded on offense, so should they still use the 11th overall pick on a wide receiver or a tight end?
Lance Zierlein of NFL.com has released his latest mock and has the Giants using the 11th overall pick on Florida right end Kyle Pitts.
Dream scenario here, as the Giants get a chance to choose between electric speed (Jaylen Waddle) and matchup talent (Pitts). I see them taking the latter.
With Evan Engram going into a contract year, now would be a good time to draft Pitts and trade Engram if they’re able to do so.
If the Giants don’t take Pitts and keep Engram, they better hope that Engram has fixed his issues with dropping the football because if he hasn’t then they will be kicking themselves for not drafting Pitts.
On the flipside, the Giants need an edge rusher more than a tight end, so someone like Kwity Paye or Micah Parsons would make more sense at 11.
