Giants getting some respect, still have to prove themselves
I don’t think anyone can deny that the New York Giants have improved quite a bit already this offseason with all of the moves that they’ve made in free agency.
With that being said, ESPN has released their post-free agency rankings and are giving the Giants the credit they deserve, for now that is. As you can see below, the Giants moved up to the 21st spot from the 25th.

Best offseason move: Paying up for WR Kenny Golladay
This was a move the Giants needed to make. They have a young quarterback who needed a No. 1 receiver, and Golladay was the only real option on the market. So while the Giants might have overpaid giving Golladay (a player who comes with questions) a strong deal that pays him $18 million per season, this is about making sure they give Daniel Jones a legitimate chance to succeed. That might not have been possible without landing the former Lions receiver, who has a knack for making contested catches.
We all know that you can’t win a Super Bowl only by signing free agents. We’ve seen teams in the NFC East like the Philadelphia Eagles and Washington Football Team try and put together “dream teams” in the past that would only fail. So there is still plenty of work to be done.
