Kyle Pitts looks like a gem of a prospect
The New York Giants are going to have quite the decision to make when they’re on the clock with the 11th overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft.
Do they take a wide receiver, a tight end, a pass rusher or even an offensive lineman?
One player that had a heck of a pro day on Wednesday was University of Florida tight end Kyle Pitts. So much so that he seems to be a freak of nature. Check out these numbers and comparisons.
Below are Pitts’ measurements:
Pitts almost ran a faster forty-yard dash than his college teammate, wide receiver Kadarius Toney. One of his times actually matched the speedy pass catcher.
Here’s a video of Pitts running the forty on Wednesday.
With the pro day that Pitts just put together I think it’s just about impossible that he slips to the Giants at 11. But if he somehow does and the Giants have the option of taking him, one of the top three receivers or an edge rusher, it will be interesting to see what they do.
