Giants still filling out their roster
The New York Giants are still busy checking in on free agents from around the NFL.
We also found out on Thursday that the Giants are interested in former New England Patriots’ cornerback Jason McCourty.
Now Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle says that Giants worked out a total of seven players this week, including wide receiver Juwan Green. I would imagine that the workouts included the three players they signed as well as Cole, but I don’t know that for sure.
Green is only 22 years-old and went undrafted in 2020 out of the University of Albany. He spent last season on the Atlanta Falcons’ practice squad and is originally from West Virginia.
Even though the Giants made some big signings this offseason, they still need to fill out their roster for training camp in order to create some competition as well as possibly find a diamond in the rough that isn’t on an NFL roster right now.
